When to apply?
Students are admitted at any time throughout the year. Although colleges typically run on a semester basis, students can apply to CLE at any time without being enrolled in a college, university or technical program.
How to apply?
The application process is easy. Please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Complete the application below

2. Gather additional application materials
- $50 application fee (to be paid via mail or online)
- Recent psycho-educational report containing both and IQ and achievement test. Common achievement tests are WAIS and the Woodcock-Johnson.
- School records, school transcripts and any special accommodation records such as IEP or 504, when available
3. Return all application materials to the National Admissions Office

4. Schedule an interview
After your application is received, we will contact you to schedule an interview for the prospective students and his or her family at a CLE site. The interview includes the opportunity to meet with CLE faculty to discuss the program and a tour of the campus and the CLE residential communities. This usually lasts two-and-a-half to three hours.
After the interview process is complete, a customized plan of service will be developed especially for your student. This individualized plan will take into account specific factors such as your student’s interests and academic and independent living goals.
